A wide variety of art works

As the season opens the gallery space houses many new works. The enclosed space allows for a broader display of works and this year raku and larger scale paintings are featured. Also prints have an intimate space where they can be viewed and enjoyed. Here are two framed prints in that area "towards the sunset trail" and on the right "cracked rock".

Drawing workshop

After a few hours of exercises the effort at a sustained drawing at the beach was undertaken. In glorious sun some amazing efforts were realized. We are planning a continuation of the idea of drawing by having a afternoon of drop on classes. A place to work with good company and some different materials. Date will be announced and posted. KIT.

Drawing workshop

A good turnout of Savary islanders for spring season workshop. The workshop was on drawing a getting some skills and exercises to practice to improve technique. Both beginners and more practiced artists came out and we had good fun with drawing. Above is a great example of a tonal gesture drawing done in only a few minutes after a warm up session of linear gesture drawing.
